I just wanted to say that I absolutely agree with Emily on how awesome the bags are at Whole Foods. I have had mine forever and they have never ripped, and believe me I pack them full.

I'm also gearing up for a move into a new space and I love this post, because these are all "new leaves" that I'm hoping to turn over as my family gets resettled over the course of the next month. The links are wonderful and I'm looking forward to reading more as you continue posting on your transition. Good luck!

I am a newcomer here and am really enjoying your blog!! I just wanted to comment that I tried out the Baggu bags and actually didn't like them at all. Weird, I know, because they're so adorable. It's just that the ripstop nylon is really slippery and it kept falling off my shoulder or sliding down my arm. And the grocery baggers prefer the bags that are more structured because they are so much easier to load. My current favorite are the bags made from recycled plastic bottles that Whole Foods sells for 99 cents.

Hope that's helpful!

Have you looked at the EatWild.com website at all? They give places where you can purchase organic meat straight from the farm. There are several in the Chicago area, one in Quincy and more than you can count across the border in WI.

We're thinking that we might buy a 1/4 cow later this fall. And maybe a lamb in the spring!
