Pink Poodle Parade

Cupcake Wrapper Garland

An “Apple-a-Day” Calendar made with apples

A “T” made of cups. T cups. Get it. “T” cups. Teacups.
One of my favorite inspirations is Anthropologie’s store art installations. They are AMAAAAAZING. Sigh. I can remember one of the first times I went to an Anthropologie store. It was downtown Chicago and it was in the fall/close to winter and they had this massive spool of thread (and you know how I love massive things) with the coordinating massive red string threaded throughout the store ceiling and walls into beautiful swirls and patterns. Wonderful. Enjoy the pictures above and if you can recreate that “T cup” installation in your kitchen you will be my lifetime hero.

I can’t decide if these are “heelarious”, amazing, or disturbing.

OH MY GOODNESS. I NEED THIS. In some great accent color (other than red/white/blue) in my LIVING ROOM. It’s ginormous and wonderful. I love big things. This could be the biggest big thing I’ve ever wanted. Ever.

Remember that great glass pendant light from a couple posts ago? Well, I found them at Design Within Reach. (Which is a horrible name for this company, because everything is most definitely out of my reach…)
Oh, they’re so lovely. Now I think I just have to have it for the new dining room. How to find $250…

So tonight we tried our first batch of “No Pudge Brownies“. They’re fat-free and easy to make, just mix in a cup of fat-free vanilla yogurt and bake… and they’re WONDERFUL! We recently renewed our gym memberships and are trying to make some changes with diet and exercise, so these are a great find! (2 points per serving if you’re doing weight watchers). Go buy a box!
I’m also keeping track of my exercise progress over at Gyminee.com with my friend, Rebekah. Let me know if you sign up there and we can be GymBuddies!

Don’t worry. I didn’t just refill Blinn’s breakfast plate with Veggie Booty because I was too lazy to make some more pancakes. The microwave kind. That you nuke for 30 seconds. (Or 32 seconds if you’re me because I can’t stand setting alarm clocks or microwaves to numbers ending in 5 or 0.)

This is Old Man Connour. We rescued him from an antique shop in Hannibal, MO. He’s going to have a prominent place in either our new living room or dining room once he’s framed.

So I remember a craft project from my elementary years involving wrapping string around a balloon, soaked in starch, left to dry, then taking out the balloon and you have this cool looking, rigid web-like ball. So my logic is, bigger balloon, more starch, more string, right?

I want Blinn to wear these exact clothes. Everyday. For the REST OF HER LIFE.
