Because today was the “busiest” day on SheDabbles in the past 46 days of existence… over 90 views today! Wow. Now I feel like I have to actually start posting something original and interesting. Thanks for checking out the site while we’re still in first gear and getting started! If I had the time, energy and moolah, I would bake all of you blueberry pancakes, make you an awesome DIY fruit basket, give you an Orla Kiely bag to put it in and bestow unto each of your children a set of wooden Russian blocks since you probably can’t afford a ticket to Moscow.

But until then, leave a comment and say hi if you’ve just been lurking around the site- I’d love to meet you! And don’t forget you can sign up to get the daily posts in your email account if you don’t already raid the blogs (like myself) with an RSS feeder like Bloglines.

Thanks again, all you ghostly anonymous viewers, don’t forget to say hi!

These handmade bags by Neiko are gorgeous! If you’re feeling extremely generous, I’ll take the RINI and Greg could use the WINTON. Swoon.

(These would also be wonderful for carrying around all my imaginary knitting projects.)

Living Room Mural

The living room in the new apartment has vaulted ceilings. So if we want to paint in there we’d need to paint the ceiling too. In addition to buying a neck brace, we’d also have to buy a lot more paint. One idea is a doing a wall mural that add drama for less money. These two are great.

I Can Do It- Part Deux

So I remember a craft project from my elementary years involving wrapping string around a balloon, soaked in starch, left to dry, then taking out the balloon and you have this cool looking, rigid web-like ball. So my logic is, bigger balloon, more starch, more string, right?

Industrial Chic

So I do like some industrial decor things, as long as they’re softened down a bit. I also love to attempt, or think that I can make, things that are most likely out of my skill set, like say, beds made out of plumbing that probably require some welding and a ginormous saw of some kind.

What I’m confessing is that I am unrealistically optimistic when it comes to hand-crafting things. (Gotta love that can-do attitude though, right?)

So, with that preface, I could TOTALLY make these awesome beds
